NAME -- Kikyo

CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY -- Kikyo is a 18-year-old priestess, and has a younger sister: Kaedae, who is about 60 years old now. Kikyo used to protect the Sacred Shikon jewel or the Jewel of Four Souls fifty years ago after a group of Demon-Slayers gave it to her to protect. She protected and guarded the Sacred Shikon Jewel/Jewel of Four Souls from all kinds of demons trying to posses and steal this jewel, hoping to be extra powerful and gain more strength. If the jewel was to get into the wrong hands, it would turn black, and evil would posses it. Kikyo's duty was very important. If she ever showed any sign of weakness, or let her guard down, the jewel would be easily stolen.

When she wasn't guarding the jewel, Kikyo often cared for the ill, elderly, or severely injured people in her and her sister's village. On some days, Kikyo would set off to care for and nurture a thief called Onigumo, who had suffered from severe burns and had been paralyzed as a result, who had lived in a cave. Onigumo, finding out Kikyo possed the Sacred Shikon jewel and who had fallen in love with the priestess, let demons get a hold of him and posses him, therefore, becoming Naraku.

Kikyo, who had fallen in love with Inuyasha: a dog half-demon, and let her guard down, was on her way to meet Inuyasha to give him the Sacred Jewel so he could become human, so she could have a ordinary life as a regular woman. Naraku watched Kikyo each day, love still burning for her, and saw Inuyasha with her and instantly became jealous of Inuyasha, and wanted to posses the sacred jewel to become more powerful. Naraku, despicably evil, sets a plot to make Kikyo and Inuyasha betray one another. Naraku shape-shifts into Inuyasha, tricks Kikyo and attacks her, nearly ending her life, steals the Shikon jewel and places it in the shrine. Then, Naraku shape-shifts into Kikyo, and tricks Inuyasha into thinking Kikyo never had any real love for him, and was never going to give him the jewel, making Inuyasha hate and despise Kikyo. So, Inuyasha steals the jewel from the shrine, feeling rejected, and plans to become a full-demon, which was his original desire. Kikyo catches up to him, thinking he was the Naraku Imitation, and shoots a sealing arrow and seals Inuyasha to the Tree of Ages-a tree that made Inuyasha's soul and body stay solid, so after Kagome broke the arrow and broke the spell, he was exactly the same as he was 50 years before- and used every ounce of her strength, bringing her to her death, and putting Inuyasha under a deep sleep for 50 years. Kikyo is burned along with sacred jewel as she requested in her final moments.

50 years later, Kagome: Kikyo's reincarnation from the present time who accidentally stumbles into the Feudal era of Japan trying to escape a demon, releases Inrush from the seal/spell in order to save herself. The Shikon jewel is released from Kagome's body, and is later shatteed into hundreds of shards. A few days later, Kikyo is resurrected from the dead by an evil witch named Urasue. Not long after, Kikyo summoned Soul Collectors to collect dead souls to replenish her own soul and strength.

However, after the Shikon jewel was scattered into many pieces, and after finding out the truth behind Naraku, Kikyo's duty is no longer to protect the Jewel of Four souls. Now, She seeks revenge against Naraku, a evil, despicable half-demon, who tore her and Inuyasha apart.
Kikyo's weakness is Inuyasha, and the desire to become a normal woman.

SPECIAL TECHNIQUES OR WEAPONS -- Kikyo uses sacred and purified arrows she shoots from her bow. She has imensive and a massive amount of spiritual power, which allows her to pass through barriers and shoot sacred and purified arrows. She uses her bow and arrows to destroy demons and protect the Shikon Jewel and other uses after shes resurrected. Other Techniques- she is able to hide her own aura, create barriers, and create Shikigami. She also uses her Soul Collectors to fly.

RELATIONSHIPS -- Kikyo likes Inuyasha. However, after she was resurrected, she despised him for "betraying her" and poured fiery and hatred toward Inuyasha, wanting to end his life. Although, eventually, after she found out the real truth, and relized there was no need to kill Inuyasha, she focused on Naraku, who was the real culprit in shape-shifting into a fake Inuyasha and convincing Kikyo Inuyasha had betrayed her. She secretly likes Inuyasha now, but doesn't show her true feelings for him.

HISTORY -- Kikyo comes from Kaedae's village.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO PLAY THIS CHARACTER? -- I think it'd be cool to be the mysterious girl who wanders around, shooting sacred arrows and such.

Kikyo wandered around in the forest. It was the night of the full moon, and she wondered what this strange, strong, demonic aura could be. Her Soul collectors followed, as they always did, with souls shining around all of them in the blackness of the night.
